If you asked me a month ago if I could envision myself joining a new company and changing my business, you would have heard an emphatic “NO.” This is what Lynn Cohen heard when she called and invited me to join her for coffee. I tried several different ways to say “no thank you,” but Lynn was very persistent in just meeting for a cup of coffee. Today, I am very thankful for her persistence. I was adamant that day and in the weeks that followed that my former company was the place for me and that I needed that blue and white sign. I felt that they provided me with opportunities that I couldn’t possibly get anywhere else.
I suppose that things started to change for me that first day that I met Lynn, though I didn’t know it. I wanted to be annoyed at her for not letting me say “no thank you” to her offer but I couldn’t seem to do it! I found her to be genuine and I instantly liked her. Then, over the following weeks, it seemed that I was seeing Keller Williams everywhere! Many of the successful agents across the country that I know and respect are KW agents. I’ve followed their discussions on technology and tools – like eEdge, Market Leader and Realty Generator – that have transformed their businesses and skyrocketed their success.
Anyone who knows me knows how much I love technology tools and how passionate I am about my business. I woke up one day and suddenly realized that I couldn’t take my business to the level that I envision it to be without KW’s tools – and I had to have them!
My thoughts of joining Keller Williams were solidified when I attended a team meeting. There truly is a different feeling when you walk through the door of a KW office. The environment is friendly, collaborative and welcoming.
I have already immersed myself in the technology and resources available with KW and I am eager to make this year the best year yet!
